JMC positions as Most Affordable Bakkie brand in South Africa; reveals pricing strategy for introductory range

Johannesburg, South Africa — 10 December 2026 - JMC (Jiangling Motors Corporation) has officially revealed its model range price list for the South African market, marking a significant step in the brand’s renewed local momentum under the distribution of Salvador Caetano South Africa.

JMC has undergone a full strategic revitalisation, with the reintroduction of the brand locally including a plan to roll out 40 JMC dealerships nationwide by 2026. The brand is re-entering the market with upgraded dealer standards, strengthened aftersales support, and a refined product line designed to meet the demanding needs of South African customers.

The initial launch phase includes the introduction of the JMC Vigus Single Cab and Double Cab, now available in 4x2 and 4x4 configurations, alongside the Carrying Plus with three different body guises.
