An SUV that was designed by an ex-Porsche designer was always going to turn heads.
The Jetour Dashing, first launched into South Africa two years ago, has now had a facelift, offering consumers a number of notable upgrades with even more style, features and tech.
The Dashing makes an immediate impression with its bold, coupe-inspired SUV styling. The new model goes a step further with a more distinctive, modern appearance, 19-inch alloy wheel design, sporty quad brushed-aluminum tailpipe finishers and a panoramic glass sunroof.

The most significant improvement in the new Dashing is the addition of Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). This suite of intelligent safety technologies assists the driver with steering, acceleration and braking in certain driving situations, providing an extra layer of support and safety. Features here include adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, lane departure warning, autonomous emergency braking, forward collision warning, blind spot detection, and rear cross traffic alert
Additional safety features include a 540° panoramic view camera system, intelligent high- and low-beam headlights, front parking sensors, and comprehensive front, side and curtain airbags.
Reviews of the Dashing, both the original model, and the newly facelifted version, highlight the design as its standout feature, described as futuristic, sporty and premium-looking, with many commenting on the generous standard specification and premium cabin. The Dashing, priced from R429 900 for the Prestige model and R 479 900 for the higher-spec Prime model, is available in a choice of six colours including Onyx Black, Slate Grey, Forest Green, Ash Grey, Crimson Red and Glacier White.
