Chery Fest returned for its second consecutive year, firmly establishing itself as a flagship annual celebration for the vibrant and ever-expanding Chery community in South Africa.
This year, the festival carried special significance, coinciding with the Chinese automaker’s fourth anniversary in the local market. This is an important milestone and underscores the brand’s growth and increasing customer loyalty.
In the first 11 months of 2025, Chery South Africa delivered 23,212 passenger vehicles, a clear reflection of the brand’s accelerating growth. Newly introduced models such as the Tiggo 9, alongside an expanding range of hybrid and plug-in hybrid vehicles, have further strengthened Chery’s market presence and drawn an increasingly diverse customer base.
At the heart of the celebration was Chery’s customer-first philosophy. The festival served as a tribute to the customers who drive the brand forward, acknowledging them as the true engine and heartbeat of Chery’s success. This ethos was brought to life through With Chery With Love (WCWL), the brand’s customer-centric sub-brand that champions meaningful engagement and exceptional ownership experiences across every touchpoint.
The past year has been particularly remarkable for Chery and its King of Customers (KOCs). From representing South Africa at the International User Summit in China to strengthening local connections through impactful community initiatives, 2025 demonstrated the power of Chery’s growing customer advocacy network.
Chery Fest 2024 treated attendees to a full day of immersive brand experiences and celebration. The entertainment lineup featured dynamic Chery brand influencers, including a headline performance by Njelic and energetic hosting by Zulu Mkhathini, creating a warm atmosphere that reflected Chery’s dynamic and people-driven spirit.
A highlight of the festival included the Customer Awards ceremony, where top-performing members of the KOC loyalty programme were honoured for their role in strengthening the Chery family. Their ongoing contributions continue to shape the brand’s growing community and shared journey of progress.
“Chery Fest 2025 was more than just a celebration. It is a heartfelt thank you to our customers who have embraced our brand and fuelled our growth over the past four years,” commented Jay Jay Botes, General Manager for Chery South Africa. “As we look ahead, our commitment to customer experience will continue to guide everything we do.”
Chery Fest 2025 once again reaffirmed Chery’s unwavering commitment to celebrating its community, deepening customer ties, and shaping a future built on connection and innovation.
