Reach For A Dream Announces Dream Raffle Car Winner
With a one-in-10 000 chance, the odds were in their favour and the ultimate Christmas gift came their way: a brand-new 7-seater Jetour X70 Plus Momentum. Reach For A Dream hosted its annual Dream Raffle draw at Rosebank Mall earlier this week, where Gordon from KwaZulu Natal was announced as the winner and was personally called from the event with the good news.
Reach For A Dream is a South African non-profit dedicated to brightening the lives of children facing life-threatening illnesses. By granting personalised dreams, from meeting a role model and receiving a special gift to enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime experience, the organisation offers these children moments of joy and a welcome break from their challenging medical treatments.
According to Julia Sotirianakos, Chief Executive Officer of Reach For A Dream, nearly all of the 10 000 tickets in this year’s Dream Raffle were sold, which will enable a further 265 dreams for children with life-threatening illnesses to be fulfilled. “This is a record for us as a foundation and we hope that next year we can do even more,” she says.
