Long before double cabs became the vehicle of choice, the single-cab bakkie has remained an enduring performer in the local automotive market, and continues to enjoy strong demand.
Recognising this demand, combined with the need for rugged capability, modern comfort, advanced technology and enhanced safety, LDV South Africa today officially announced the launch of its newest entry model - The T60 Utility Single Cab. This 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine work horse now becomes South Africa's most competitively priced single-cab bakkies for its level of specification, priced from R 299 900.

Producing 120kW and 410Nm of torque, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, the LDV T60 Utility Single Cab offers the versatility to tackle everything from urban deliveries to off-road job sites. Built to maximise productivity while minimising downtime, this model has a payload capacity of up to 1 170kg and a generous 73-litre fuel tank, along with a braked towing capacity of 3 000 kg.
The T60 Utility Single Cab is available in both 4x2 and 4x4 variants, delivering fuel consumption of just 7.5L/100km on the highway and 8.7L/100km in urban driving.
With an overall length of 5 395mm, a width of 1 900mm, height of 1 830mm and a generous 3 155mm wheelbase, the T60 Utility Single Cab offers a spacious cabin and a comfortable ride. From a safety perspective, it comes with both driver and front passenger airbags, ABS, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), differential lock, hydraulic power steering, high-mounted brake light and rear fog lamp.
Additional features include Bluetooth-enabled radio, air conditioning and selectable Eco, Power and Normal driving modes, allowing drivers to tailor the vehicle's performance to different driving conditions and workloads.
