DFSK SA participated in a four-day roadshow organised by FuneralCar, the Wynberg-based provider of motoring solutions for the funeral industry. The roadshow travelled through Limpopo and Mpumalanga from 20 to 23 July 2026.
The teams visited Wisani Funerals in Tzaneen, Tswelopele Funeral Services in Nelspruit, Royal Funerals, Lebowa Funerals and Icebolethu Funerals. The roadshow concluded with a gathering for funeral parlours that could not be visited individually.
Funeral professionals showed strong interest in the DFSK C35 Panel Van, agreeing that its space, practicality and efficiency make it well suited to transporting deceased persons safely and respectfully to mortuaries.
“The response to the DFSK C35 was extremely encouraging. Funeral professionals could see that it offers the practicality, dependability and economy their businesses require,” said Rachel Stead, founder and CEO of FuneralCar.
During the roadshow, the LPG-powered C35 travelled approximately 1,200 kilometres using one 80-litre tank of LPG and about a quarter of a tank of petrol, demonstrating its potential to reduce funeral businesses’ operating costs.
FuneralCar thanked DFSK SA for showcasing the C35 directly to funeral-industry professionals and looks forward to continuing the collaboration.
