PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA, 29 September 2026 – Ford South Africa Manufacturing (Pty) Limited is introducing the new Ford Tourneo Custom Kombi, a versatile passenger vehicle that combines generous interior space, practical features, modern connectivity and everyday comfort.
The new Ford Tourneo Custom Kombi replaces the existing Ford Tourneo Trend LWB, and brings the latest generation of Ford's passenger offering to customers who need a capable and comfortable vehicle for transporting people, whether for family, business, shuttle or fleet applications.
At the heart of the new Tourneo Custom Kombi is a 2.0-litre SiT diesel engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, producing 100 kW of maximum power and 360 Nm of torque. The automatic transmission provides smooth, effortless operation, making the vehicle well suited to both urban driving and longer journeys.
Practicality built in
The Ford Tourneo Custom Kombi is designed with everyday usability in mind. Its fixed eight-seater cabin provides a dedicated passenger-carrying configuration, while the spacious cabin offers plenty of room for occupants and their belongings.
Practicality extends throughout the cabin, with plenty of storage space for everyday items. The driver and front passenger benefit from armrests, while the use of durable and practical cloth seat fabric provides a comfortable and functional interior suited to regular use.
Exterior details include Daytime Running Lights, adding to the vehicle's distinctive appearance while improving visibility to other road users. Optional 16-inch alloy wheels can be fitted.
Technology at your fingertips
While its focus is on practicality, the Ford Tourneo Custom Kombi does not compromise on technology. The dashboard features a large 13-inch central touchscreen, providing access to key vehicle functions and connectivity features.
Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ allow occupants to seamlessly integrate compatible smartphones, while an 8-inch digital instrument display provides the driver with clear access to important vehicle information.
Ford's FordPass connectivity technology further enhances the ownership experience, providing convenient access to connected vehicle features through the FordPass app.
All Transit and Tourneo models feature a Driver Monitoring System that uses an infrared camera to track the driver’s head and eye movements for signs of distraction. If detected, the system displays an instrument-panel warning to help the driver stay focused on the road.
A new-generation of space and technology
The introduction of the new Ford Tourneo Custom Kombi marks the replacement of the established Tourneo Custom Trend with a new-generation passenger vehicle that brings together the space and practicality customers expect with enhanced technology and modern design.

The recommended Retail Price includes a six-year/90 000km Ford Optional Service Plan, four-year/120 000km Ford warranty, four-year/unlimited distance Roadside Assistance and five-year/unlimited distance corrosion warranty. In addition, over the counter (OTC) parts and service parts warranty (SPW) are covered for two-years/unlimited distance. The recommended service interval is 15 000km or annually, whichever occurs first.
Customers have the option of purchasing Ford Protect Service or Maintenance Plan upgrades up to eight years or 165 000km. The warranty can be extended up to seven years or 200 000km, while the Roadside Assistance can be extended for an additional one or two years.
