Audi South Africa adds new S line entry point to Audi Q2 range

Johannesburg, August 2026 – Audi South Africa has strengthened its compact SUV offering with the introduction of a new Audi Q2 S line derivative, priced from R679,000. Positioned below the Urban Edition and Black Edition, the new derivative gives customers a more accessible entry into the Q2 range while retaining the confident character and premium qualities expected from Audi.

Expanding accessibility through portfolio optimisation

The new Q2 S line forms part of Audi South Africa's ongoing portfolio optimisation strategy, focused on creating a more competitive and clearly positioned model range for local customers.

The new derivative is available from August 2026 through Audi South Africa's nationwide dealer network.

A clearer Q2 model hierarchy

The revised Q2 line-up introduces a more defined trim hierarchy, with three model lines that offer customers a clear step-up in positioning, equipment and visual presence.

S line – R679,000

As the entry point to the Q2 range, the new S line brings a strong standard specification to the line-up. Highlights include 18-inch 5-Y spoke alloy wheels, Matrix LED headlights with dynamic light sequencing and dynamic turn signals, LED rear lights with dynamic turn signals, sport suspension, progressive steering, Park system plus with reversing camera, Audi virtual cockpit, MMI radio plus with smartphone interface, Audi sound system, front sport seats, ambient lighting package, deluxe automatic air conditioning and a three-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel.

Its exterior is further distinguished by S line-specific bumpers, illuminated aluminium door sill trims with S badging, body-coloured exterior mirror housings and Matt Platinum Grey sideblades.

Urban Edition – R748,280

The Urban Edition adds a comfort-focused layer to the range, with features that support convenience and daily usability. Additional equipment includes 18-inch Graphite Grey alloy wheels, advanced bumpers with a contrasting paint finish, a panoramic glass sunroof, leather/leatherette upholstery, an electric tailgate and comfort key.

Black Edition – R770,980

At the top of the Q2 line-up, the Black Edition delivers a bolder expression of the compact SUV. Additional equipment includes S line bumpers in Black Optics paint finish, black accents for the Audi Singleframe, sideblades, mirror housings and Audi rings, Audi Sport 19-inch 10-Y-spoke, black alloy wheels, black cloth headlining, a flat-bottom sports steering wheel, Light Graphic Format inlays and the ambient lighting package plus offering a choice of 10 colours.

Together, the three derivatives give customers a straightforward choice within the Audi Q2 range, from the well-equipped S line to the comfort-led Urban Edition and the more expressive Black Edition.
