18 August 2026: JAC Motors South Africa reaffirms its commitment to supporting communities in need by donating two trucks, an X200 EV 1.9-tonne and an N140 9-tonne, to Christian Aid Relief (CARE). The vehicles will join CARE's all-JAC fleet, helping the non-profit organisation deliver essential supplies to vulnerable communities throughout South Africa.
CARE operates a food-processing facility in Roodepoort, producing and distributing more than 500,000 nutritious meals each month to schools and communities facing food insecurity. The battery-electric X200 EV is ideally suited to CARE’s urban deliveries, reducing fuel and operating costs and lowering emissions.

Reliable transport is essential for humanitarian organisations operating across Southern Africa, where poor roads and damaged infrastructure often make remote communities difficult to reach. Adding two new trucks will strengthen CARE’s logistics network, improve efficiency and extend its reach, enabling critical support wherever it is needed. Monthly cash donations from JAC Motors and its dealer network further strengthen CARE’s capacity to meet growing social support needs across the country.

The battery-electric X200 EV provides CARE with a cost-effective, zero-emission solution for daily operations and community outreach. At the same time, the N140 9-tonne truck strengthens CARE's capacity to collect and distribute food donations, emergency relief and essential supplies throughout Southern Africa.
